Lauren D. at Mudsmith

This is Lauren D. that I met at Mudsmith. On a desperate run to the restroom and noticed something she and I had in common, the camo-jacket. Couldn’t help but take note of it. I, myself, did not have my jacket on that day but her jacket was going to be the one that was featured this anyway.

I got to talk to her a bit and found out she just moved into Dallas last year from New York. I was quite astonished because, although I’ve never gone, I’ve always marveled at the thought of one day going to New York. Also, we’ve all heard of New York Fashion Week and never Dallas Fashion Week. Perhaps someday we can change that.

Here are details on Lauren’s outfit: Sandals are from Forever21, Jeans are Madewell, Shirt is from Pleione, Jacket is from TNA, Bag is from Chanel.

Alejandra P. on Greenville

Alejandra is actually my co-worker and good friend. At work she dresses very different from this but everywhere else this is basically what she normally wears. Alejandra has been into black since black was dubbed a color (“it’s a shade”). Okay, all jokes aside, she’s been more of a patron to black when deciding what to wear.

Here are some details on her outfit: Crop top is from Forever21, Pantyhose and Boots are from H&M.

Corey M. from Writing & Research at UTD

Corey was one of the people I mentioned in the previous post who agreed to be featured on Dallas Street Fashion. To all of them thank you for being apart of this.

It was actually so so so difficult to stop Corey and get him on this blog. He was always so busy! Well, I was too. I should clear the air by saying that it was actually my fault too. Getting two schedules to coincide can be a little difficult at times.

Anyway, just like Sophie & Jason from two previous posts, I’d say I shared similar humor to Corey so finally taking his photos for this post was pretty hilarious. So, I hope these photos turned out the way you saw them in your head, Corey (haha).

Here are some details on his outfit: Glasses are Versace, Shirt is from DesignbyHumans, Jeans are from Pacsun, Sneakers are from Vans, & Backpack is from Electric

Sophie L. from Writing & Research

As you can see in the title I met Sophie in my Writing & Research Emerging Media class at University of Texas at Dallas. I can’t exactly recall the exact time I met her within the class but I do remember always being put in groups with her. She in fact was apart of my final project in that class. I can honestly say it was so much fun having her in my groups. I would say she and I have about the same kind of humor if not similar.

Since she was often in the groups we were put in I did one day asked her, and a few other UTD student features on here, if they’d like to show up on my blog. Thankfully they all agreed to be apart of Dallas Street Fashion.

Here are some details on what Sophie is wearing: Her dress is from Metro Park, Her bag is LongChamp Le Pliage, and her heels are from Target.

Mark G. from Instagram

Processed with VSCOcam with k3 preset

Meet Mark G. I finally met Mark at Mockingbird Station not too long ago. I say ‘finally’ because he and I had communicated over Instagram for a while before we actually met. I saw he posted a picture of a gelato place in downtown Dallas and I was so intrigued to find that I had never been there. I marveled at the gelato place because it looked as if it were placed in Europe but was actually here in Dallas, so I had to ask about it. Mark was kind enough to tell me where it was and urged me to go try the place (I have yet to try it though).

Anyway I must say it was great to finally meet him. We got the chance to talk about traveling, in which, he was soon going to be on his way to New York (I hope it was an amazing trip). I also learned that he is actually the Creative Director at the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which is pretty amazing to hear. Of course, I had to take a picture of his outfit and along with every outfit I post on here I have to ask a few questions too.

Corniche J. at Mockingbird Station

Processed with VSCOcam with c1 preset

Just like the two previous posts I met up with Corniche here at the Mockingbirdstyles instameet as well. I actually met her through someone I’ve kind of kept up with through instagram. You’ll definitely see him in an upcoming post. Anyway, I definitely loved Corniche’s style and let’s be honest she’s rocking the heck out of that outfit.

She wore:

Necklace: From her Etsy Shop – ShopClaudius
T-Shirt: Hanes men’s undershirt – WalMart
Cardigan: Chams de Baron- Buffalo Exchange
Jeans: Mother Denim – Anthropologie
Shoes: BC Footwear – Anthropologie

Unfortunately, because of the speed of the whole meet up I wasn’t able to converse with her but I did get to contact her afterwards. I asked her a few questions  about fashion, style & her outfit from that day.

Omar R. around Mockingbird Station

Processed with VSCOcam with 6 preset

This is Omar. He was referred to me by a mutual friend. I thought it was a great idea since I did meet him prior to this feature and knew, yeah, he had already delved into a big part of the fashion culture.

The same Sunday from the previous post, myself, our friend, and Omar got together before the MockingbirdStyles Instameet to took a few photos and talk about fashion.
